Our projects offer engineering challenges that allow for personal and technical development.  These projects include transmission line siting and design, foundation analysis and design, slope stability and landslide studies, management of coal combustion products, including CCP landfill siting, design, and permitting, and various structural, geotechnical and civil engineering services for energy companies and other business sectors.

Engineer

Job Description:  Responsible for assisting with structural and geotechnical engineering projects for the Transmission Line and Substation, and Geotechnical Engineering and Structural Mechanics Groups.  Technical responsibilities include structural design and analysis, foundation design, and geotechnical engineering. 

Job Requirements:  Must have 1-3 years of working experience in structural engineering.  Additional experience in geotechnical engineering preferred. 

Degree Requirements:  Must have Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 2 years of practical experience.  A Master's degree in Civil Engineering with at least one year of practical experience preferred.

Project Engineer for Coal Combustion Product (CCP) Program

Job Description:  Responsible for the execution of CCP projects.  Technical responsibilities include the implementation of CCP landfill and beneficial use projects, including siting, design, permitting, and construction drawings and specifications.  Managerial and marketing responsibilities include assisting the Group Manager with proposal preparation, assigning staff to projects, and the implementation of the CCP Group's marketing plan.  The Project Engineer will also be responsible for preparing scopes of work, budgets, project schedules, and staff assignments.

Job Requirements:  Must have ten (10) years of working experience in CCP engineering, including five (5) years in CCP engineering.  Extensive knowledge and use of computer based design tools and other related engineering software.  Professional Engineer in PA required, and the ability to obtain in other states where DiGioia Gray provides services.

Degree Requirements:  Must have Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.   Master's degree preferred.

Group Manager for Geotechnical Engineering Program

Job Description:  Responsible for the development and implementation of the Geotechnical Engineering Program.  The Group Manager is responsible for the Technical, Managerial, and Marketing efforts for the group.  Technical responsibilities include the development and implementation of geotechnical engineering principles, designs and standards, and the technical review of all Geotechnical Engineering projects.  Managerial and marketing responsibilities include proposal preparation, assigning staff to projects, training and mentoring, and the development of the Geotechnical Engineering Group's marketing plan.

Job Requirements:  Must have fifteen (15) years of working experience, including ten (10) years in the practice of geotechnical engineering, and five (5) years in the management of geotechnical engineering projects.  Professional Engineer in PA required, and the ability to obtain in other states where DiGioia Gray provides services.  Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Degree Requirements:  Must have Master's degree in Civil Engineering.   Doctorate degree preferred.
